A friend of mine brought up that all of my girl's names are floral names - Dahlia, Lily, Rose, etc. but I'm confused on names for boys. I was thinking of continuing that theme. Are there plant/floral names that would work for boy names that I'm just not thinking of?? Help!

The only one I could really think of that's strictly floral is maybe Heath (like the male version of Heather). I would use more nature-themed names for boys. Flowers are just inherently feminine to me. So maybe more botanical, like Ash (ash tree) or Oakley (oak tree).

I think Basil is pronounced bazzul, though. I've never heard it (as a name) with an American accent so I don't know if it's different than the herb or not. (I mean, maybe the English pronounce the name and the herb the same, but I've never heard the name Basil prounounced by an American, so I don't know if it becomes Bay-sil).

I like the name Oleander for a boy :) Kind of a hybrid of Oliver and Alexander, and it's naturey too!

Sage and Linden are the only ones that come right to mind, both of which I love.
