By Gerber Stage, the winner are....

Birth: Ava
Supported Sitter: Kayson
Sitter: Olivia
Crawler: Grayson
Toddler: Justin
Toddler+: Sully

And the grand prize, the child in the national Gerber ad will be: Paxton and Levi (twins)

A few years ago, the -ayden ending was popular. I wonder if  -ayson is going to be the new trend.

Already is -- isn't Mason the Big New Name now?

I always duck my head when people start ripping on the name "Kayson" cuz...that's my 6 year old's name lol

aaaaaand I kinda hate the -aden/Ayden trend so....I'll kinda be super sad about an -ason/ayson trend. Though I do know there's already a ton of Mason's...but I thought that was norm. One of those names like Hunter and Fisher. I could be wrong. However, any other beginning I try to put in front of ason/ayson just sounds dumb to me, so maybe I'll get lucky and it'll just be the usual Mason, Jason, Grayson and now Kason mix. Like I don't expect to see any sudden surge in Hayson, Brayson, Trayson, or Gayson's.

We chose the name cuz we heard it on Dog the Bounty Hunter and thought it was unique. yea, I know lol

But, his name is probably my favorite outta all 5 boy names we got *shrug* But the rest were kind of settle names...where we gridlocked with our vetoes and it was coming to the end of my 9 months and a decision HAD to be made. So Kayson feels like the only honest name in the bunch.

On the other names listed....Sully is interesting. Not sure I'd pick it myself for a kid but...meh. Sounds nicknamey. Or like a cat name. And I've always liked the name Levi but I swear every guy in the world (or at least the ones I know) hate that name like no other. No clue why. Paxton's meh for me. Don't hate it, don't love it. And the rest of them are decent names, even if some are over used now.

It's kind of different but a 6 year old in my 1st grader's class is Tycen. It's like halfway between Tyson and Taycen. (It is pronounced like Tyson though).

Sully just reminds me of Monsters Inc. I love Kayson, but I would spell it Kasen, however my cousin that I'm really close to is Jason, so I always thought that would get really confusing.

Sully reminds me of Monsters, Inc., though I just watched an episode of Dr. Quinn so I should have the connection there. . .suppose it's because it's been forever since I watched that show regularly.
