(no subject)

Ran across this in an FB group (and a close friend of mine knows these kids IRL):

Twin boys named Trout and Pterodactyl.

I can't.

Lol WUT? Are you serious now?

Pterodactyl will constantly be spelling that one, his entire life. That is, if he doesn't officially change it when he's 18.

That makes me sad. How/why would anyone do that to their children?!

At least the dinosaur one can go by Terry. Poor Fish Boy.

I know! I was thinking, "If they'd have gone with Pterodactyl and Pteranodon, at least they'd have Terry & Don to fall back on..."

Like someone else says, Pterodactyl can probably use "Terry" in most situations, but... I cringe to think about what's going to happen to Trout in grade school. (I have a fairly ordinary, though somewhat dated, first name, and kids still came up with ways to make fun of it. "Trout" is just giving them ammunition).

Not just ammunition, they've given them the gun and shooting lessons too!

I don't think my brain can even totally accept Pterodactyl as true. I mean... WTF.

AT LEAST THEY SPELLED IT CORRECTLY!

OMG. Those poor kids.

what. the fuck.

WOW. Even as bizarro word names, they seem mismatched. Pterodactyl and Dimetrodon would have been a better fit (and Dmitri would have been a possible nickname).

I literally cannot wrap my mind around this.
