baby name confusion
Dec. 13th, 2013 09:53 amWell, I thought I had my names picked but now I'm wavering. We picked Lillian for a girl name, but now I find myself not liking it at all. My daughter's name is Molly. I love love love the name Molly. So every girl name I look at, I find myself comparing to the name Molly. I just can't find anything as cute. I know it sounds silly, maybe its pregnancy brain talking but I am so frustrated! Anyone else have this problem?

Date: 2013-12-13 04:16 pm (UTC)Ava Dulcea is my eldest daughter. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE her name. Always. It's perfect for me, every name after that had to be held up to her standard. That wasn't always easy. I think that's where you are at.
Edited to include name ideas: I had one suggestion previously, Annelise, but I found so many more thinking about for only a few more minutes. Here are some names I think would be spectacular next to Molly.
Abigail "Abby"
Susan "Suzy"
Kelly
Sophie
Lucy
Alice "Allie"
Annabel
Sadie

We went through a few "almost" names with both our kids before making a final decision. We actually had names picked and agreed on before both pregnancies, but didn't end up using either of them once the pregnancy was real instead of theoretical. I still like those names, but don't regret not using them.
Maybe Lillian just isn't the right one for you.
