My cousin and her husband are expecting their first child in April. Today they finally found out that they are having a little girl! She said they have decided on Annabelle Rose. I was really surprised, we (myself and her sister) were so sure she'd name a little girl Skylar or a little boy Nikki. Patty is a huge Motley Crue fan and both of those names were related to the band and names she had picked out since high school. So when she picked Jacoby for a boy and then Annabelle for a girl I was pleasantly surprised! There is something to be said about getting older.

I guess it's a good thing most people grow up and pick mature names. If I named a kid what I wanted to name a kid in a high school, there'd be a little Kylieanna Elizabeth Julia Grace running around.... *shudder* Skylar isn't so bad though and Nikki would be better if it were a nickname. I do much prefer Annabelle though.

I'm not a fan of Skylar at all, never have been. But I love Annabelle Rose!

Maybe it's her husband pick? I known my husband vetoed some of my favorite names. I forever loved Madeline and wanted to name a little girl after the books. 1. We never had a girl 2. my husband threw down the veto.

When i was a kid(I'm 27 now) i picked incredibly generic names like Emma and Jacob and even Michael. I'm naming my daughter BeauLynn (Beau) Strawberry Fields now. Lol I'm the opposite, i guess. :)

Back in high school I had Gideon and Juniper selected. I was only truly sold on Juniper though, after the book "The Juniper Game". I still like those names but oddly enough when I became pregnant at 19 neither of those names came to mind! I thought I was having a girl until Week 35 or 36 and had zero names on my list.

When I was younger, my favorite names were: Brynn, Ainsleah/Ainsley, Mia, and Rivers. I would still use Brynn, and maybe Ainsley.

I'm not a huge fan of Annabelle, but muchhhhhh better than Skylar or Nikki!

The names I liked in high school were Jason and Gillian, which I thought was pronounced GILL-ee-en.

I love both Annabelle and Skylar. I like Nikki - for a girl. I love Jacob much better than Jacoby.
