New names at school

I work in a child care centre that is operated out of a school and the program runs throughout the summer. The teachers are back this week and have been posting class lists on their doors when I came across the name "Sayf".

Oh, that's a fairly common Arabic name.

yep, pretty common Arabic name! other spellings include Seif and Saif.

When I was first reading it I kept thinking Zayf. Good to know this is a common name as I have never heard it before!
