The chances of of me ever using it are like 2904566 to 1 but still I thought I'd get everyone's take on it....



Revolution. It's a guilty pleasure - I know it would be insane to use + the teasing. Yet there is just something about it. Ever have a name like that? Apart of me can't help but to think has a middle it would be a strong and cofident name. I have heard the name Rebel used before why couldn't Revolution? The fact that my husband adores it doesn't help! I tried explaing to him that the name would be too much to live up to. Of course I have thought of a name combo Ian Revolution.

It's a good thing I am pretty well set and determined to use only family names as mddles. If I wasn't than I might actually be completapling giving a child the name of Revolution.

LOL My 8 year old is Tigerlily. It suits her perfectly too. I'm crazy and give my kids hippy names ;)

It's a super celebrity name. Revolution could be a new sibling for Rebel, Rocket, and Racer (Robert Rodriguez's kids). At least you'd put it in the middle name spot.

My main concern for a little Revolution would be: what if he turned out to be just a nice, mild-mannered guy? Ian Revolution, certified accountant? It's better than "Danger" as a middle name, but honestly? Not by a lot. Sorry!

this probably sounds extra weird, but it has too many hard consonant sounds in it for me to even consider it a Wacky Celeb Baby Name.

on that note, Quest is almost ok as maybe a mn if you really ran out of names you love. :)

But I agree, unless your kid grows up to be a loud, rocker type guy, it's not going to work. I don't think I could take my boss seriously if I knew his name was Revolution.

It'd be okay for a mn, I guess, but I don't think Rebel is a good comparison because no one should be naming their child Rebel either!

I actually like it alot. But I'm a HUGE Les Mis fan...so...that might be part of it...
