Twins?

Kind of an obscure question, but...

Anyone here have "twin names" set up that are actual pairs in real life, a movie, book or something? IE: You'd name twins Adam and Eve, Jack and Rose, Thelma and Louise, etc.? I might be the only one who thinks that's a cute way to honor folks, but...

One comes to mind for me immediately: Pauline and Juliet. Ten points to anyone who knows where those are from.

Jack and Rose is a possibility (Titanic). Kate and Melanie (Winslet and Lynskey) is too. Kate and Johnny (Winslet and Depp). Helen and Mary (my grandmothers). Marianne and Elinor (Sense and Sensibility).

Someone here said Lilah and Wesley (from Angel), which I thought was sheer brilliance.

Others:
Satine and Christian
Margaret and Pierre
Winifred and Wesley
Sara and Gilbert
Lily and James
James and Molly (from a song)

PS: Parker & Hulme?

YAY!

I knew my true crime library would serve me well.

:) Thought of some more:

John and Paul
George and Richard
Ainsley and Samuel (Sam)
Joshua and Donnatella (Josh and Donna)
Joshua and Samuel
Cordelia and Harmony
Kaylee and Simon
Simon and River

If I did that, I'd totally name my kids Scout and Jem ;).

it just seemed odd. im not naming my kids after famous couples. maybe one name out of the couple (jack out of the pair), but not both, its too romantic and wierd if who you are naming them after people that had sex with eachother, or killed eachother, or something. thats like naming a kid OJ and Nicole(the wife was named nicole right?) or romeo and juliet.
no thanks!

Nope. Think along the lines of Pauline and Juliet.

Atticus is on my list of middle name possibilities. At the top, actually. I LOVE that name. :)

poor jasmine. i don't get where the 3some comes from, so i am probably missing everything completely, but connor and cordelia are both nice strong names and jasmine is so flaky to me.

I hate, hate, HATE that idea. Children are not objects and you might think it's cute for them to have matchy-cutey "set" names but even if they come in a pair, they won't be together in a pair for the rest of their lives. Twins are just as much individuals as single babies.
