I have always liked the idea of giving a son the middle name of his father's first name. Like my parents did with my brother Jonathan Richard. Now that I am married and planning on one day having kids with him - I realize his name stinks as a middle LOL. Nothing sounds good with Jason as a middle name. At least I don't think so. Plus he doesn't know really like his name.

Still apart of me is sad I can't do this after I have wanted to do it for years and years. However his middle name could be used as child's middle right? I don't actually like his middle enough for a first name. But I could live with it as a middle. Teagan Matthew work for anyone?

William Jason and Sebastian Jason sound nice IMO, just going off of names I like. :) I like the combination you put together, too.

Timothy Jason or Zachary Jason... or any three syllable name stressed on the first syllable like that would work, so long as it doesn't end in the -on sound.

I knew a Marc Jason once & to me that sounds ok. I do like Teagan Matthew a lot though for some reason.

Teagan is very girly nowadays. I don't like it for either, though.

I see nothing wrong with using his middle name, although I think plenty of FNs sound find with Jason.

We're using the father's middle name for one son, but it's also to honour the baby's grandpa as well. My hubbie's parents were very unoriginal.

Father = Arthur Kevin
Son = Kevin Arthur

I think my hubbie got the better name out of the deal, though. It flows better. We're using Arthur for one of our boy's MNs. I actually prefer to use middle names when honouring someone. =)
