We adopted a chinchilla yesterday! YAY! His previous name was Whiskers, but I don't do cutesy names like that, so we're trying to think of something else. I prefer nature-themed names in general, particularly ones relating somehow to evening or autumn/fall. My daughter suggested Dusk. It's my favorite time of day, but I'm not sure how I feel about it as a name. We're also tossing around Phoenix, Forrest, and Keir. So I'd love some suggestions from you guys! They don't *have* to reference evening or autumn/fall, but those are ideal.

FWIW, "Ash" names aren't going to work because my name is Ashlie. We also have a rat named Viggo, because he looks like he has a lightning bolt on his head.
