Taylla Abygaëlle - What is this? Ew.
Adrian (Aud Ane, Ann Ine, Ailinn) - If I was their parent, I would be mixing up these names constantly.
Kasper - Although I like the look of Casper more, I dislike it because of the "friendly ghost" association. I think I would really like it otherwise. The Kasper spelling loses some of that association, and I also hear it with Norwegian ears instead of American/English ones. So I guess I like it in a non-English context.
Isak - This is another one kind of like Casper/Kasper. I don't like Isaac at all (bad association), but I kind of like Isak in this context.
Linnea - Not on my list but nice.
Leander - Same as above.
Bendik - I love Benedict, but I just can't get behind this version of it.
Birk - Is this said like "berk"?I keep hearing it as the British slang word.
Kassander - I've never seen this before. I kind of like it.
Peder - I hate Peter, but there is something I like about Peder.
William - It's on my list, although not really a contender currently.
Sofie - I'm quite fond of Sofie. I had an internet friend by the name, only with a "ph."
Nikolai - This name is pretty neat.
August - I like it. I wouldn't use it myself, but I like it.
Sarah - One of my dearest friends from childhood is a Sarah. I've always preferred it with an "h" as she spells it.
Benjamin - I really liked this name for awhile, but I grew tired of it. It's still nice, just not one I would use. I suppose it's fortunate that it's not a favorite anymore, as my brother and sister-in-law named their son that, so it's off-limits now.
Magnus - I've always felt a draw to this name.
Sofia - It's kind of pretty. I prefer Sofie/Sophie, but I also feel that given names shouldn't be nicknames, so although Sofie/Sophie stands pretty well on its own, I couldn't use it myself. Also, it's wildly popular here; Sophia is ranked #1 for girls.

Sofia/Sophia is like #10 on our list, it's soared from being basically unheard of a few years ago to top 10 last year. Crazy stuff.
Birk: The i in Birk has an ee sound, but it's a very short ee-sound. The emphasis is more on the r and the k.
