I met a kid named Memphis at my store the other day. I'm not sure how I feel about the name. It's definitely not something I'd use.

It just makes me think of ice cream: Memphis Meltdowns.
It's not terrible but I absolutely wouldn't use it either.

It's an awesome sounding name, but I'm not sure I could use it personally because I meet tourists from Memphis all the time at my job.

If you want to name you kid after a place I like it. Not something I'd use.
