Not sure how it's spelled...
Jun. 2nd, 2013 10:35 amA customer has been coming in to my shop, quite regularly, this past month. I'd never seen her before this, and she's constantly calling her daughter over, who I'd put around 5.
Her daughter's name is Shy. I'm not sure if it's spelled that way, but it's definitely the way it sounds. I suppose it could be Shai, or Chai. Though I'm more inclined to think her name is Cheyanne. I kind of want to ask her, because I'm curious, but how would I go about it? Should I mention that it's an unusual name or something and that I like it? Or what?

Date: 2013-06-02 10:30 am (UTC)I had a kid who came to my old store a lot called Sebastian. His mother made a big deal about how it was an A in there instead of an E but I just told him his name was awesome :D Probably a compliment is the best way to go about it, even if you don't really love it XD
