On a many different kinds of birds including parrots, parakeets, raptors and turkeys, the fleshy part on the beak where the nostrils are is called the cere. That is all I can think of when I see this name. The fleshy bit on a parakeet's beak where the nostrils are.

Yes, I was thinking of the cere as well. I assume it's actually pronounced "serenity" but I read it as, "Cere niti".
