I am 34 weeks with a little girl, and I think we have picked two names. Which do you like best and why?

Lila(h) Evelyn

Brothers are Cannon, Grayson and Elias.

I like the flow of Lila Evelyn better, and the way it sounds with the boys' names. I like the spelling without an 'h' as that is how my grandmother's name was spelled so I'm just used to it.

Lila is WAY to close to Elias for me (unless you're pronouncing it Lee-lah rather than Lie-la), but I'm also stuck on the double eh sound of Colette Evelyn.

I don't like Lilah with Elias, despite how much I love the name Lilah. Collette Evelyn sounds strange to me, though, and I can't decide why. It almost sounds like I'm saying "Collette, Evelyn" like her last name is Collette. I like Collette with the boys' names, even though I personally wouldn't put Cannon and Collette together, but it's still ok and they are not too similar at all. So my vote is for Collette! (Or, as someone else suggested, Leela instead of Lilah; that would top Collette for me).

How about Colilah or Lilette? Haha, I'm joking! Although Violet sounds like Lilette, just with emphasis on the other syllable. Violet Evelyn is nice! Also, congratulations on your little girl. Every child is an adventure, but after 3 boys, this will be a new adventure!

Colette! I'm just not a fan of the "lie" part or the "ugh" part of Lila, lol. Plus, I feel like Colette has more diversity in nns and such.

Both are nice with your sons' names, but I think Lila is best. When you're mad, I think you'll be really likely to confuse Cannon and Colette.

Everyone else had such great points! Lila and Elias are too similar, and I feel like Colette and Cannon has a similar problem. If it were me I'd probably nix both names, though I do love Colette, just not with Evelyn. Could you do Evelyn Lila or Evelyn Colette? Nn eve, evie? Or possibly change Lila to Laila?

i have always been partial to the name Colette, but both are beautiful. i'd pick that one, though, i think, because Lila is kinda close to Elias. kinda. :)

I normally don't like Colette, but I think it definitely flows well and goes better with your other names. It gets my vote.

I love them both, honestly. I think Lila(h) fits better with Cannon, but Colette is so pretty and classic, and not as common.
