names with double Rs
Apr. 10th, 2013 11:39 pmMy co-worker is having her third child, a girl, in August. Her first two children's names both have 2 R's in them and she wants to carry on the tradition. Big brother's name is Gerrard and big sister's name is Lorraine.
She's thinking maybe Harriet or Sierra for the new arrival. Any other suggestions?

Farrah
Sparrow
Has she considered using other double letter combos? If they plan on more than three kids, it's going to be even more difficult down the line to stick to the rr thing. I mean, there aren't that many options for baby #3. It just seems like she is cutting out so many wonderful names.

Date: 2013-04-10 04:55 pm (UTC)The mother mentioned the book and the little girl suddenly looked confused and said "Mommy, what's 'it'?" When her mother asked her what she meant the little girl said "You said 'hairy it.' What's 'it'?" I always think of it when I hear the name now. I've never heard anyone else make that connection but I've also never met a Harriet around children....
