Gabriel is currently one of my favorite boy names, so I’ve put a bit of thought into this myself. So here are some of my favorites.
Gabriel James
Gabriel Matthew
Gabriel Nicholas
Those are the 3 that leap instantly to mind. Matthew and Nicholas are also near the top of my list of favorites, so using either of those as a middle name makes me extremely happy. I just like Gabriel James because it flows well.

I like Nicholas for it too but my nephew's middle name is Nicolay so I guess that's out :(

Eh, I don’t put a whole lot of thought into stuff like that, especially for middle names. Unless your nephew’s first name is Gabriel, I’d say you’re probably okay. :D Personally, if it’s a name I love, I’m going to use it. My youngest brother’s name is Matthew, and I would totally use that as a middle name if given the chance. Apparently we only know how to make girls though, so I may never get that chance. LOL.

BUT THAT MAY be because I'm a fan of the movie the Patriot...and it's my brothers favorite name and he plans to name his future son that...whenever he has one...and our families last name is Thomas. It rings well in my head. :)
