I came across this name today, and I kind of love it - what do you think of:

I like the sound of it. The spelling throws me for a loop, though.

NMS.

In the US they will probably run into problems with others misspelling or mispronouncing. Of course, there is that problem with my favorites since they are based in non-English languages and I live in the US, so I don't hold this against a name. Just something to be aware of when considering names for future children.

But it seems like it is a real name, so I don't have anything against it.

English is my only language, I keep wanting to say Axe-ah or Eye-za/A-za...I just can't see it as Eye-sha.

One of my best friends is named Ayse, also pronounced EYE-shuh. She is Turkish.
