My brother and I were discussing today a sort of tradition that runs in the family of having Thomas be everyone's middle name in honor of our great grandmother. Add into this the newer tradition of having a first name that starts with T - we have a Trent Thomas, a Tate Thomas, a Tyler Thomas and a Terry Thomas in our extended family - and the two of us were left wonder what T___ Thomas combinations were left that wouldn't sound bad.

It's all theoretical at this point, but I'd love to hear some thoughts and suggestions on this.

I almost included the pronunciation on that one. It is pronounced 'TIEG,' like tiger without the -er.

It wasn't a stupid question! Like I said, I almost included the pronunciation with that one because I know Irish spellings can be tough to parse. Someone had to tell me how to say Tadhg at one point, and of they hadn't, I might still be saying it wrong!

Teh-come-seh or Teh-come-suh, I believe. It's Native American, although I don't remember what tribe specifically. It was also General William Sherman's middle name.

Around here we pronounce it 'Teh-come-see', but I'm pretty sure 'Teh-come-seh' is more correct.

<3 Thomas.

My fathers name is Olyn Thomas(it's also my maiden name) and my father in law is Thomas Fields so we're naming our second son(if we have two) Olyn Thomas Fields. :)
