Young cousin pair

babynamesToday, I came across a couple of names that belong to cousins. The 3-year old is Chloeigh and the newborn is Maddilynn, nicknamed immediately as "Maddy."
Ugh ugh ugh. Chloeigh has got to be one of the worst bastardizations I have ever seen. That is a permanent curse upon that child's life. And Madeleine/Madeline is ruined by that superfluous spelling. And "Maddy" is just so common/blah.
I have seen so many -eigh names lately. I'm sorry, I don't mean to offend anyone, but what is with that?!?!? 'Leigh' itself is just about the only one I can think of that's legitimate, so to speak.
Anyway, just had to share.
