Holly, former girlfriend of Hugh Hefner had a baby girl the other day and she has just revealed the child's name.

Get ready for it.

Rainbow Aurora is this baby's name. I'm seeing a lot of "oh, it's so unique!" but when does a name stop being ~unique and start being a little kooky?

Does anyone like it? Maybe she can go by Aurora when she grows up or starts school.

That is a very Hippie name. At least it's spelled correctly.

(Is it sad that that is now my threshold for when a name is quirky and for when it's just wrong?)

Can you imagine what that would look like? Reignbeaux? Yuck!

It's very colorful. Sorry I couldn't resist. That is a kooky name to stick on a kid.

Aurora is fantastic. Rainbow...not so much. As someone said, it's very hippie. Maybe they were going for ethereal and princess-y. Iris Aurora or Aurora Iris would have worked, if they used the name of the goddess of the rainbow.

It's a bit much together, but separately, I quite like both names. I'd probably relegate Rainbow to middle name position, though.

Aurora Rainbow would've been nicer.
At least it's spelled properly.

But but but... those are separate atmospheric phenomena...

Waiting on the next kid, Autumn Spring or Amber Ruby.

I could see Aurora Rainbow... but at least they can call her Rain?

I love the name Aurora but it just DOES NOT fit in my mouth properly and I can't say it. It feels clunky in my mouth, which bums me out.

Rainbow... Not at all. Just, no. If you must, middle name it.

Points for proper spelling.
I do love the name Aurora...but I don't like Rainbow at all...

Considering I work at a grocery store called Rainbow, too me all I think about is 5 years of hellish customers.

That's not unique, that's hoping your kid becomes a stripper.

Love Aurora. But Rainbow is...unfortunate.

As if her taste wasn't already questionable.

Thumbs up to Aurora?
