I. don't really see it on an adult, but it's a really cute name!

I agree with you.

Woof.

Really tho, it's cute. I think it'd only work well with just the right middle and last names, though.

A new product hit the market in my area and that's all I can think of when you say Milo:

I love Milo-- have ever since my massive crush on Milo Ventimiglia :)

Met a little boy with the name a couple years ago and thought it was really cute! It's on my long list of faves.

I love it pronounced the way he does his. Was my huge love for my second son and everybody ripped it apart. :(

I love the other pronounciation as well. I just love Milo all around.

It's my fave boy name, but my husband hates it. We're having another girl, so I guess it doesn't matter this time around! :)

Our daughter is Maelle (my-EL, like the first 2 syllables in "my elephant"). It sounds similar to Milo but for a girl, and not as popular (in fact, no one we meet has heard of it at all in the US).

Maelle is beautiful!! Thanks for sharing :(

Eh. I think Miles would age better.

Love it! Miles nn Milo is second on my list for boys :) I'd definitely use Miles with Milo as the nickname, though, so the kid has a choice when he's older.

This exactly. I love Milo but I would rather use it as a nn for Miles. I like names with options.

Cute, but becoming quite trendy.

I still think of Milo and Otis. But then again, I'm a pug fanatic.

Milan is similar, though becoming trendy thanks to Shakira. And then there is Miles.

I don't really care for it, personally. Which was only kind of strengthened because I used to live in an area where it seemed that everybody was naming their son Milo for about 3 years or so. There was no escape!

I think it depends on how it's pronounced, and I'm not even sure if there is more than one correct pronunciation of it. I say "mee-low," which I like. If it's "my-low," then I don't like it.

Most people say "my-low".

I work with a child Me-low and actually know a few adults with that name because it is a short form for the name Miloslav which is a Serbian/Croatian/that part of the world name. I know one MY-low so I think it really depends on the ethnicities in your area.

Cute. I recently read a series and the main character names her baby Milo.

I think it's very cute. It's definitely one that would depend on the last name and/or potential middle name.

I'm also pretty sure that we had a poster here for a while who named her daughter Milo. I prefer it for a boy, though.

My rainbow son is named Milo Spencer. He's definitely made for the name. :)

For a dog.

It's ok short for Miles.

I love it. I tend to think of the comic strip character Milo Bloom from the strip Bloom County, but that is definitely not a bad thing. :-)

I love it. I use it as a nick name for my son Miles
