Tonight after we went to dinner, my husband and I sat and watched the local hospitals scrolling new birth sign where they display recent baby names. I almost cried.

Nevaeh Rei
Taylor Mae
John Mac (not horrible, just sounds weird to my ear)


seriously... Makynzaa? And.. does the world REALLY need another Nevaeh?

I keep seeing Nevaeh pop up in this community, but I have never heard of that name! How is it pronounced? NUH-VAY-UH?

When I first saw the pronunciation in here, I thought everyone was saying it Nuh-VY-uh, but then I met a girl at the preschool I work at with the name and she says it Nuh-VAY-uh so, yes, I think that's how it's pronounced. I'd never heard it before the community before, and now I'm seeing it everywhere too!
