Also, what are your thoughts on Elliott? Has it become a girls name or does if still work for a boy/man?

One of my coworkers has a baby girl names Elliott. I think it works well both ways now.

I love Elliot for boys or girls. It doesn't feel distinctly male or female to me, which is unusual with unisex names.

Elliott will always be a boy name to me.

Personally, I see Elliott as a boys' name only, probably because I had a male friend named Elliott back in high school. I wonder if Scrubs has anything to do with its new use in girls. It also has to do with the El- trend, too, I think.

I like:

Scarlett Brooke
Davina
Lucy Paige
Ruth Naomi (Abigail Elizabeth, Johanna Elise)
Mia (Freya)
Scarlett Aurora
Adele
Rosemary
Lucia
Ruby
Louise
Summer
Amelia Grace
Bianca Jade
Madeleine Heather
Charlotte Ivy
Anthea Sonja

Molly Moo and Millie Moo alarm me. There are a few others here that aren't necessarily awful, but probably won't age well (like Honey Louise). Brianna, Bryony, Brea, Britney, and Brooklyn are each alright individually (Bryony being my favorite), but they are too much together.

Not sure where you're located, but in the US, the TV show Scrubs contributed too, as one of its main characters was a woman named Elliott.

I really like Elliot on a boy. I guess I don't mind it on a girl but I don't really like this trend of using boys' names on girls. I worry it'll become like Kelly or Stacy and eventually won't work on a boy anymore.

From the list I like:
Lucy Paige
Jane
Ruth
Bryony
Louise
Isla May and Iona Lily (love these together)
Amelia Grace (Isobel Rose, Lily Margaret)
Bianca
Coralline (spelled Coraline)
Charlotte Ivy
Holly

TWO people gave their kids the middle name Moo? Good lord. I know people say that kids will make fun of anything and everything, but that's certainly helping them along, isn't it?

I don't really care for Elliott, but I think it's still a boy's name.

I really hate the name Elliott - but it is a boys name all the way.

Moo? Seriously?

Elliott is exclusively a boy's name in my mind.

Davina is kind of pretty.
I think Molly is really sweet, but I feel like I would prefer it as a nickname. Mary has never been a favorite of mine, although it is growing on me some.
I'm becoming more and more fond of Louise for a middle name.
Summer makes a nice name, but I would never use it myself as it is my least favorite season.
If I saw the sibset Cameron and Charlie, I would assume they were both boys.
Holly and Poppy and Lily-Rose, Poppy-Alyssa, and Daisy are too matchy.
Speaking of matchy: Maisie-Mai and Lottie-Rai.

On my list:
Jane
Elizabeth
Sarah
Margaret
Charlotte

Elliott is a name that I have gotten used to hearing on girls and therefore can picture, but I still prefer it on boys. It's not a name that I have ever cared for in general though.

The Moo thing is also...weird. It reminds me of Maggie Moo ice cream. Why would you give your child such a cutesy name? Do people not realize they will someday be adults??

I love Elliott and Evan for girls, but people seem to react negatively when I mention it.
