i love heidi and its not very common right now which is nice. I also love Cate, ecspecially spelled that way. Is there a reason your spelling it like that? Is that Irish?
All these names have a special reason behind them. Cate was a neighbor I had growing up and she was a lonely old woman who was one of the sweetest people I knew. I would spend time with her and help her garden and she would tell me stories about her past. I remember that when she passed away, it was the first time that I saw any member of her family come by and they came and took all of her very special antiques and left so carelessly. On to the point. They left behind all these photo albums of her's and I would always ask her to show me the pictures because I loved them, so I took the album. The picture had names and dates on the back and that's when I learned that she spelled her name with a C. She was full British, as far as I know. Although, I'm not sure. I was too young to think of asking.
I like Heidi and Karolina prefer Angelina to Angeline. agree w/above poster that Cate would be a wonderful tribute, but I dont really like it spelled that way Marion is a bit old-lady to me (lots of women at my church have that name)
Heidi - it's ok. I used to think it was awful; it was one of my parents choices for me and I was always so glad they didn't use it. It just made me think of the girl from the book.
Karolina - I don't like the K spelling.
Angeline - Angel names have never appealed to me
Cate - It's ok, but Kates are a dime a dozen. And Catewithacee is a mouthful.
heidi and cate are both wonderful. i like karolina, but prefer carolina. my name is caroline and a ton of people call me carolina, and i just love it when they do, especially the few spanish people i know. as soon as i introduce myself it immediately turns to "ahhh......care-oh-LEE-nah!" i just adore it, i cant get enough of it. :)
