Personally I'd pronounce it Ni-eh-ve. Which is how you say snow in Spanish.

Pronounced either Neeve or NEE-uv, depending on where you are in Ireland, I believe.

I actually think it's a kr8tif spelling of Nieve which is a Spanish name meaning Snow.
