[identity profile] kati-d.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
The other day at Church a new family came and they were introduced to everyone before service. They had 2 kids a boy named Logan and a girl named Kinley, pronounced KIN (as in family) LEE.

I think I kinda like it. It helped that they were from Alabama and said the name with thick southern accents so im not sure itd have the same ring with my Northern Michigan accent but I think its a cute name for a girl...

Opinions on the name Kinley... feel free to share

I love it. I know a Kinsley (~30 yo woman), which I also like, and a little boy named Kingsley.

My friend had a baby girl last month and named her Kinley. I had never heard it before then.

It's ok in the way all those trendy K names are: Kinsey, Kaylee, Keelee, Kayla, Kelsey, Kacey, Kiley, Kaia, Kamey, Kaitlyn, Kenzie, Kennedy, Kiera, Kinsley, Khloe, Kailin, Kaiden...

I think it's nice. I know a Mackinley (male) and a Kinsley. I think they are all nice.

Wasn't the famous sex doctor/therapist named Kinsley or something along those lines? My brain's shut off for the day and I can't remember...

Bumping his nose against an aquarium, from what I can tell. I could seriously watch it forever.
