[identity profile] renishas.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
I've been watching the Reindeer Cam with my son for a couple day now and they have a "Nice" list that scrolls though the reindeer pen. They also have a Facebook feed that gets a lot of names in a short period of time. Here are some of the best. Siblings are grouped when I can figure it out.

Nena & Hailee Rose
Kadence
Zayli
Bellarose
Kateland
Tempe
Buck
Deziray
Amaya & Kylia
Ashlie Brooke
Jupiter
Ceili
Mykel
Kyleigh
Aalyn Marie
Zenora
Jaycob
Anneke & Arie

I may return later with more names. Go for the reindeer and stay for the crazy names!

As a Kate, Kateland stings especially bad. What the what???

Bellarose seems like it could become super trendy.

I don't mind that name, but not as one word. Bella-Rose is nice. Even better would be Bella with Rose as a middle.

Out of that list, I like Nena, Deziray and Jaycob, but with the proper spellings (Nina, Desiree, Jacob).

Jupiter. Why not Saturn? Uranus?
Maybe they aren't done having kids yet.

Buck makes me think of United States of Tara. Zenora sounds like a name that belongs in a fantasy novel, and not a child in real life. Jupiter intrigues me more as a middle name rather than a first name.

The only name I genuinely like is Amaya. Every other name infuriates me because of "creative" spelling.

Jupiter actually seems like it would be a pretty cool name. The more I think about it, the more unisex it appears to me (though I know my mythology and yes, he was the Roman equivalent of Zeus).

Ceili is a legitimate name. It's the Irish form of Kaylee/Kayliegh/etc. I prefer that spelling over the ones you see more typically in America, but I'm not fond of the name personally.

I used to have a potted plant named Arie. I pronounced it AIR-ee, but I've heard it pronounces AHR-ee too. I like both.
