My mum is a childminder so I have heard a lot of baby names in my time. One of her friends who also does that job had a couple of her kids over to my parents house for lunch. One of the little girls was called Tiree which made me go 'whut?' anyway. But then it turns out her sister is called Skye. My mum asked what the other kid in the family was called, Harris or Lewis maybe? A gold star for anyone who gets the joke. Turns out the other child is called Amy. Such a weird combination, imo.

At first glance I thought Tiree was interesting and pretty. But then I realized it's already a word, teary, and that is not good. Pronouncing it like ty-ree or turry is not good either. Hmm. That is a super weird combination!

It's said Ty-ree. She's named after the Scottish Isle :) Well I'm going to assume they called her after that and didn't just hear it somewhere and think YES NAME XD
