I think that's why I stick around on mommy groups on Facebook too....to just see the awful ~creativity~ they have.
Some of these...I'm not sure what the original is. Mahloni = Melanie? Maleigha...I can't even begin to think of how to pronounce it.

Well, Maloney is a last name, so when spelled correctly, it could be like Mackenzie or McKenna. (Not a very good surname-as-first-name, though.)

Kynsingtan is probably an unfortunate misspelling of Kensington.

Especially for a little girl. I knew a boy named Malone (mom's maiden name, called him Mal), so to me it is very very masculine.

But some people are into those more "masculine" names for girls, so w/e I guess.

A girl I went to HS has a 6 or 7 year old boy named Austyn, she has a nice normal name, Katie. I don't know why she thought Austin wasn't good enough.

I despise y's where there should be vowels. One of the only exceptions is Kaylyn, because I think Kaylen looks odd.

ESPECIALLY on boys. It feminizes it completely to me and I would probably insult a lot of people assuming their Austyn/Logyn was a girl... (also Logyn reminds me of gyno so I cringed when I see it).
