I LOVE the name Verity. I always have two boy and two girl name sets in my head that I would love to use if I had children right that second and one of those names at the moment is Vivica Margaret Verity. Verity is Latin and means truth.

I think it's adorable. Very would be a cute nickname. My last name has a V and the middle name we want to use has one as well so I shy away from first names with V.

I actually really like the name Verity! Perhaps because my husband is a Latin nerd. It reminds me of the fabulous new book Code Name Verity, which makes it a Very Good Name. :)

My grandparents have friends they have known for about 40yrs, their last name is Verity. I like it as a first name, too.
