name regret.

My husband and I were talking today and we were talking about people who name their kids after a family memeber or use a parent, grandparent, uncle, aunt's name for a first or middle name and then regret it later on? Did that make sense? What was the name and why.

For us it was the name Michael.....which has now been changed to Nathaniel. My husband has adopted my son (our son now) and his biological father's name was Michael. Also my husband's dad's name is Michael and they are both total douches. Any body else?

I would never name a baby after the father. In most cases, the child is already getting the dad's last name, why the heck does she/he need his first name as well?!

well where were you when I did that years ago. lol ;P It's changed now, new middle and last name thank god. :) But I agree with you totally. I tell my friends now to never name their babies after the father because of what I went threw but if they still want to then thats on them.
