[identity profile] mysticamor.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
My husband and I were talking today and we were talking about people who name their kids after a family memeber or use a parent, grandparent, uncle, aunt's name for a first or middle name and then regret it later on? Did that make sense? What was the name and why.

For us it was the name Michael.....which has now been changed to Nathaniel. My husband has adopted my son (our son now) and his biological father's name was Michael. Also my husband's dad's name is Michael and they are both total douches. Any body else?

I'm not sure. It's a really long, complicated, embarassing story. My son's first name doesn't mix with his father's last name, so I think I'd let his father pick a new middle name that has some signifigance to him and his family. I'd like to get "Andrew" gone before my son asks why that is his middle name and I have to explain...
