babynamesI posted a bit ago about my friend wanting to name her baby Laila Breeze if it was a girl.
They found out this week it is indeed a little girl, but they're now "98% sure" they want to name her Laila Karisse instead. Laila would be pronounced LY-luh. Karisse is a variation of Charis, meaning "grace" and would be pronounced like "keh-REESE-eh". Her husband is Brazilian and she told me these are the pronunciations that would be used in Portuguese.
I think it's a beautiful name.
