for future baby. I'm super picky. Last name is very awkward, LeeLee (almost, it has the double l and ends in a y/ee sound.) So off limits are names containing L (there's already too many l's!) and ending in the ee/y sound. This makes naming hard! Middle names will probably be Charlotte for a girl and James for a boy. I'm also from a big family so a lot of names that fit this criteria are off limits (Adam, Mason and Thomas, for example.) I also prefer more classical names that age well. I'd love more name suggestions that fight my very picky criteria! I'm not really 100% sold on any of these, to be honest.

My current list is for girls:
Georgina
Ava
Thea
Maya
Primrose
Sasha
Sara (pronounced Sar-ra not Sarah- will this constantly be mispronounced?)
Vivian

And for boys:
Archer (not sure this will age well though I love it)
James (as a first name and I need a middle name for it)
Peter
Jake
George
Max
Jack

From your list, I really like Georgina, Maya, Vivian, Archer, George, and Max. Even though some of those are becoming more popular.

As for suggestions, what about iris or Ivy for a girl? Or maybe Theodore for a boy?

wth? my first name is Sarah, and I am totally confused by the pronunciation difference.i have noticed some people pronounce my name different, and I liked it, but the difference is so minute, I don't think I could make others make the change.
I sometimes want to legally change my name to Sarai though.

Umm..huh? Sara is still Sarah, like Sara. So yes, it is always going to get "mispronounced." Unless there's another way to spell it, without wondering how to pronounce an awkwardly spelled name?

Maybe Sera or SerĂ¡? The way the pronunciation is written makes me think of the Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) song.

Archer will totally age well, imo.

I like most of these names!

I love Georgina, Ava, Thea, Vivian, James, Peter, and Jack.

Yes, Sara will always be pronounced as Sarah. I used to go to school with a girl named Sahra, pronounced Sar-ra like I think you want.

I had a professor, and her name was Saara, and I think the way she pronounced it is closer to how you're saying it than Sara is.

I like:
Ava
Thea
Maya
Primrose, nn Prim.

Really dislike Sasha, maybe because I know too many dogs with that name and because it just seems too common?
Sara makes me want to suggest Zara :) It's just because I've never been a fan of Sarah/Sara, and Sara as you want it pronounced will probably always be an issue.

For boys:
Archer (can definitely see this aging well)
James
Jake
Max
LOVE Jack :)

I love Georgina and Vivian.

Sara will always be mispronounced, and I agree with the above comment that maybe Zara would be worth considering.

I LOVE all the names you've chosen for girls, but keep in mind that with Ava and Maya, your daughter will be sharing a name with tons of other little girls, like Jennifer was in the 80s. I used to teach piano here in LA and I had THREE Mayas just in my little studio, and 2 Ava's. Then my best friend named her daughter Eva and my boss who owned the piano studio named HER daughter Maya!

I love Archer, James and George. I think the other ones - especially Max and Jack - will run into the "trendiness" issue too.

People will pronounce Sara like Sarah. I agree that you should go with Zara if you want a different a sound.

With Charlotte, I like Georgina, Ava, Maya, Sasha and Primrose.

For the boys, I like Archer James a lot, but I think one syllable names sound awkward with James (Jake James, George James, Max James).
