[identity profile] politicking.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
Pulled from a forum:

Airek Joseph (Eric)

Airiyella Brianne (Ariella)
Alecksa Deanyell (Alexa Danielle)
Maddicyn Arren-Lea (Madison Erin-Lee)

Poor Maddicyn being the only non-A name... and poor all of them for those ATROCIOUS spellings!

"My little girl who is almost a year, is named Brynnelynne Alyxandria (pronounced: bren-lynn alex-andria). Expecting another one in a couple months (find out the sex in two weeks). If it's a boy, it's going to be Riot Alyxander and not sure on the girls first name yet, but Alyxia will be her middle name. (: Still looking for something unique that sticks with me and my fiance."

Why do so many people think spelling a name CRAZY makes it "unique"?!

Instead of killing the spelling of already pretty names, why don't they just go for something that isn't common anymore or from their heritage if they really want something unique? Gosh...people today and their awful spelling...

After all those spellings, at least people will know what his name is when they read it.

They're all terrible but for some reason Brynnelynne seems the worst to me. Maybe because I hate the way it's pronounced, combined with the fact that it looks ridiculous to me...

If you have to explain how the name is pronounced, unless it is a name from another language, then there is a serious problem!

When spelled properly, Ariella Brianne is a really cute combination. But the spelling that's boggling my mind the most is Maddicyn. Just...why?

About the quote: Why is she reusing the same misspelled middle name? That makes no sense. And why would Riot be a good first name? It just has too many connotations...

Obviously the spellings are all terrible. But I really hate that the person with Brynnelynne Alyxandria is going to chose Alyxander or Alyxia as their next child's middle name. Similar names in the same family really irk me.

I look at Alyxia and keep wanting to say "Elixir." Which is not attractive.

Someday, these kids are going to file a class action lawsuit against the makers of Hooked on Phonics.

I do like Brianne and Joseph, though.
