I'm wondering what you guys think of Idina(f) as a first name?
I also need help with a second name, because I like Indigo and Lavinia, but...I can sort of see a problem with the Id in the first name and the Ind in the second. Also the A at the end of Idina and the A at the end of Lavinia. Lavinia is my grandmothers middle name so I'm favouring it over Indigo, but it would be great if you have any names that you think would go well between Idina and Lavinia, or just a whole new middle name altogether.

When I first saw Idina I immediately thought India (which I honestly prefer). I love Indigo as a middle name but you're right, it doesn't flow with the first name. I would go with Idina Lavinia. I knew a Lavinia in college and she went by Vinnie. I thought that was super cute!

I agree with this. It wasn't actually until I read the comment that I went back and realized it didn't say India. That would be my biggest issue with the name, it seems like it would be mispronounced frequently.

It makes me think of Idina Menzel, who I love but it's not my favourite name in the world.

Elphaba is a major guilty pleasure for me! I know a girl called Wednesday.

Wednesday Lavinia actually has a nice ring to it. Wednesday is a bit of a strange girl. She likes to do things on a whim. The name suits her.

I think of Idina Menzel (who I love) but, don't care for the name...and it doesn't really go with your middle choices

I immediately thought of Idunna, who is a norse goddess associated with youth. I'm sure Idina is actually a name, but my first thought was that it's a mispelling of Idunna.

I think Idina Menzel. Love her, don't love the name or even like it really. TBH it looks like you mispelled India.

I don't really like Idina, but I love Indigo and Lavinia!

Idina Lavinia definitely flows better than Idina Indigo.

I see your concerns with the Id/Ind and the A/A ending and I have to say they both throw me off. Sorry :\

I also saw "India" at first, then when I went back and saw Idina, I thought of Idina Menzel. I think it's an alright name but I don't think it goes very well with Indigo or Lavinia. Maybe Idina Lavi.

Like everyone else, I thought of Idina Menzel, whom I love. :) It doesn't quite flow with your middle names, but I can see it working if you put a one or two syllable name between the first and middle names.

Idina is on our short list, though as a middle name, so I love it. I also like the flow of Idina Lavinia

I've always liked Idina. I guess I'm sort of in the minority. I do think Idina Lavinia just sounds better.

I love Lavinia - reminds me of the story Titus Andronicus by Shakespear. The character Lavinia is raped, has her hands and tongue cut off so she will never be able to tell what has happened to her. She uses her mouth and stumps to write it in the dirt - while the connotations Lavinia may bring, to me, ultimately this name means survival.
