So, who has heard of the Italian designer Luisa Beccaria?

Her husband is Lucio

And their children are, from oldest to youngest,

Lucilla
Lucrezia
Ludovico
Luna
Luchino

I think all of the names are nice individually, but with all those Ls, it's a bit much!

The only one I like is her name, Luisa. Luna is acceptable, although not my style.

Bit of overkill there with the "L"'s.....

However, doesn't come close to the ridiculousness of the Duggars....

All 16 (yes, that's sixteen!!) of their childrens names begin with the letter "J"...

I am freaking obsessed with that family. seriously, everytime something about them comes on TLC I have to watch it (it's like that train wreck thing). I am always amazed at them going to the grocery store & the like.

and how in the hell does that woman home school ALL of them? and make all their clothes? when did they have time or energy to have sex to keep having all these kids?

I too am obsessed with that family. They both fascinate me and aggravate me at the same time. I LOVE their food pantry and freezer! I would totally shop once a month and stock my shelves and freezer the way they do.

As for the homeschooling....I can't imagine she teaches anything beyond the basics. How can she keep up beyond that?? And, so far as I know, she doesn't make their clothes. They either go to their local Goodwill (I'm all for that!!) or they get "hand-me-downs" from other families (so I've come to understand)...

Time and energy...here's the part where I get irritated with them. If ya wanna have that many children, fine, good for you, YAY, more power to ya...yada yada yada....BUT...for the love of God, STOP shoving the youngest kids off on the older ones.

but really, you're so right. there can hardly be time for more than basics. and older sibs= helpers sometimes (I've heard of situations where this works well) is ok but definitley NOT older sibs=another set of parents to look after #'s 8-16 bc Mom & Dad are too overwhelmed.

really the whole idea of that many kids makes my head spin. esp in the 2? 3? bedroom house they were in before TLC hooked them the hell up & finished building the big one.

It's not as bad as a guy who names all of his kids 'John'. I knew a guy who had 4 kids, 2 girls, 2 boys, and named all of them JOHN.

How horrible is that?

My mom and her four sisters are all L names...Loretta (Lori), Linda, Louisa, Leslie (my mom), and Lisbeth (Lis).

*Sigh* I hate when this happens.
I know a family, who, ironically, all have the same birthdays and have the same initals. {Even the parents}

At the daycare where I work, there is a family with 4 kids, and mother, father and all 4 kids start with the letter "C" and their last name also starts with "C".

I know a Larry and Lavina and they named their children Lanita(f), Laverne(m), Larwin(m), and Layton(m)
