(no subject)

I found another sibset of somewhat weird names. Not weird, so much, as just very Hollywood.

Sister: Novalee Geneva
Brother: Pacey Thomas

Where The Heart Is and Dawson's Creek much? Who knows! What do you think? I kind of like Pacey in the way that I would never ever use it, but it's alright. And Pacey Thomas works well, I think. I'm not a huge fan of Novalee Geneva, together or separate, but that's just not my cup of tea.

I also found a sibset of five siblings: Kylie, Kelsey, Khloe, Kensley (sisters), and Kohl (brother). I am not really a fan of the same letter names or the close spelling of Kohl and Khloe or Kelsey and Kensley. And Kensley isn't on babynames.com or behindthename.com, and I've never heard of it before, so I was curious about it's origin. *shrugs*

Just thought I'd share.

It's probably Irish for "Crap, we need another freakin' K name!".

I know Kinsley is a surname. I dont know its origin, but I knew brothers in school named Mark and Matt Kinsley.

I love "Novalee", but I don't think I could ever take it seriously on a person (besides "Novalee Nation").

The name "Pacey" is just gross sounding IMO... it sounds like "pasty".

there's a Doctor in the town I grew up in named Pacey Pet. he's an orthopedic surgeon I think.

I guess, if you never age past 5.

I'd use Pacey for a dog, but never a child. Novalee isn't horrible, though, and that was a darned good book.

I'm pretty sure they "invented" Kensley. I never thought Chloe would be one of those names people would butcher like that.

Pacey and Novalee's parents sound very... pretentious.
