[identity profile] ladydreamfire.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
Just wanted to share a couple of names related to me.

Baby Autumn will join her big sister Skylar Noel sometime this fall.

Skylar and Autumn will also be proud cousins to Eleanor Kennedy who will be born around the same time as Autumn.

My BF does not love Eleanor Kennedy, she thinks Eleanor is grumpy and old ladyish, and the name of a Beatles song and I don't think she was fond of the Kennedy mn either. As for me, I'm dazzled by it! I think it sounds fine and grand. :)

WDYT?

I like Eleanor Kennedy a lot more than Autumn or Skylar tbh. Eleanor is a strong female name and has cute nicknames like Ellie, Ella, Nora. It will age well.

Eleanor is lovely. I like Autumn. Kennedy is so trendy to me, yuck.

Eleanor is lovely. Personally, I hate Skylar and Autumn. Together they sound both dated and, tbh, trashy. :\

Skylar and Autumn sound like stripper names, sorry. Even though Eleanor is not in my tastes I love the nn's available for the name.

I love Eleanor (that's not my favourite spelling of it, but the name is great).

I love Eleanor.

Kennedy does nothing for me. First, it's a surname. Second, I'm completely unimpressed with the Kennedy family.

Skylar and Autumn are too trendy and too cutesy for me.

Hate Kennedy and Skylar, but Autumn is lovely and Eleanor is classy.

I've always loved Eleanor. So classy, and unique enough (IMO). Course I only ever knew one and she was my age, and so pretty! <3 The combination is alright, but I'm not really a fan of Kennedy all that much. Autumn is better than Skylar (ICK!) and Noel should only ever be on a boy, or spelled Noelle. And that's the prettiest name in the bunch (NOELLE not NOEL). Haha. XD

lol at Eleanor Kennedy. I LOVE it as Eleanor was my gmas's name and i think it should be used more as its pretty and eli and lenore are great nicknames BUT i kinda think Eleanor Roosevelt!

I'm not a fan of Skylar. Seems too trendy and made up. Plus that was Vince Neil's daughter's name from Motely Crue and she died. Just why I would never use it.

I like Noel and Autumn

None of these names are favorites of mine, but they aren't bad. Well, except maybe Kennedy. It's a surname and I think surname names go far better on boys. Kennedy just sounds so masculine to me! Unless it's to honor a family connection, I think it's best left to the boys, if used at all. Eleanor is closest to my name style.

Skylar Noel has a nice sound to it, and I think Skylar and Autumn go well together.

I like Autumn a lot, but that might be because I've met a little Autumn who is absolutely adorable. Not big on Skylar, though. I love Eleanor, but Eleanor Kennedy sounds like someone who should actually be related to the Kennedys.

The name Autumn is all right... I don't like any of the others.

I love Skylar and Autumn, two of my favourite names. but tbh I prefer Skylar for a boy. Eleanor is ok, but I'm not a fan of Kennedy at all.

I like Eleanor is absolutely lovely and classic. Ellie would be a sweet nickname. :) I think Kennedy sounds nice, but don't really like how popular it is.
