Friend's kids

Luna Coco.

It's cute and quirky but can't see a girl growing up into adulthood with this name. Her other daughter is called Summer-Jane.

WDYT?

Wow, talk about giving your kid a comic-book crazy person name. Summer-Jane seems benign in comparison though I dislike the hyphenation.

Not a big fan of hyphenated first names but Summer-Jane isn't so bad I guess. Luna and Coco are pet names... I know several dogs that are called both, Luna is the cat on Sailor Moon and my goldfish. I mean Luna was named after Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter and it's not a bad name on it's own but Luna Coco just strikes up the image of a spoiled cat or dog.

I think Summer-Jane is cute, but Luna Coco is wtf.

Luna is cute. I love Summer, not so much with the hyphenated Jane. Coco is my in law's cocker spaniel. I still don't understand why Courteney Cox named her kid Coco. It's a good thing she took her dad's last name, can you imagine Coco Cox?

Individually, I like Luna, Summer, and Jane. Coco is just ridiculous to me. I actually kind of like Summer-Jane despite the hyphen. I don't care for the sibset though. I think it's because Luna is moon and Summer is, well, summer so they're kind of connected, but one is a celestial body and the other is a season and one is Latin-based and the other is the English word; it just feels off-balance to me.

All I could think of was "Loony-CooCoo." It just sounds like a crazy person!
