A girl I went to high school with just had a baby boy, named Jaxon Carter. WDYT?

I've always thought that Jaxon looks weird... it doesn't bother me, but it's definitely not my style. Then again, I'm not particularly fond of Jackson either.
Carter is my cousin's name. I think it's cute.

It's horrible. I definitely made a stink-face when I read it, lol.

A friend of mine from high school named her newest kid Jaxon as well.

I don't hate the name Jackson (yet) though I'll definitely never use it but the alternate of Jaxon is just... ick.

Carter is cute though.

I don't like the X in Jaxon...much prefer Jackson. It feels like I should be saying it differently with the X thrown in there. But overall, I like the sound. It rolls of the tongue nicely. Just the spelling thats making me cringe.

I'm not really feeling the name Jaxon and whenever I hear the name Carter I think of an older man.

Had it been "Jackson Carter" I would've been fine with it. I just want Xes in names where they belong, like Xavier and Alexandra.

Jaxon looks too much like Jason, so it confuses me to pronounce it. What was wrong with Jackson? :\

I didn't think of that before, but I think you've pin-pointed why this name bugs me a bit.

It makes me say "jake-son" instead of "jack-son". @~@

I also have a high school friend who is expecting a boy and they plan on naming him Jaxon. I'm not a fan of the spelling, but its becoming a popular name if 3 people so far know a newborn Jaxon.

I don't like Jaxon, but Jackson Carter is a decent name.

Carter is alright (but I like surname first names), but why can't people spell Jackson correctly? I know the letter "X" is in now, but really? C'mon.

I don't like it, because it seems like a clever spelling of Jackson. I do, however, really like the name Jaxom (from a book) and that is what I thought of at first sight.

If it were Jackson Carter, I would consider it a very strong, masculine name. But Jaxon cheapens it and I picture a more wimpy kid.

I'm very visual when it comes to names, haha. I always imagine what the kid will look/be like when they're older as if it makes a difference. :p
