I'm on a quest for long (mufti-syllable) female names that can be shortened  to a one syllable nick name. All types of names welcomed. Its for a character; no babies will be harmed.

Examples: Josephine = Jo, Leticia = Tish, Alexandra = Al, Lex, Zan, Evangeline = Eve, etc

Violet can become Vi ... Drusilla can become Dru ... Charlotte can become Char ... Annebelle (or Isabelle) can become Belle ... Beatrice can become Bea ... Genevieve can become Gen.
