My cousin finally gave birth yesterday, 2 weeks after her due date and the baby is officially Savannah Sofiyah.  Mother is Rebecca Lynn, father is Nigel, brother is Darrien Cameron.

I know someone else who is due shortly and she plans to name the boy Alec Danger.

Lucia - husband Lorenzo, daugthers Sara and Anna
Fotini-Hellas (Fotini means "light" and Hellas I'm guessing means Greece)

Savannah is cute, but Sofiyah is...unnecessarily misspelled. Alec is cool, but I think the mother took "Danger is my middle name" too literally.

I think that with Sofiyah she's going for an arabic feel? Maybe? I really didn't ask because she's very ~sensitive~ (even before pregnancy hormones took over)

I always cringe at the middle name 'Danger'. I swear every parent who afflicts their child with it thinks they're being hilarious and unique, but it's just more lame every time I see it. It's actually embarrassing. I wish people would think of their child as an individual human being before treating them as a joke.

I've always been a fan of Savannah since I met a little girl with the name in the 90s. Sofiyah? Uh...not exactly. I would pronounce that spelling like So-FYE-uh, not Sophia.
