Does anyone know of any name with the nickname Reggie, besides Regina or Reginald?

I think Reggie is cute, but I dislike both of those names.

I've heard of the name Regan, like in King Lear and such--Reggie could potentially be a nickname for that?

It is pretty cute, isn't it? :)
You could also do a basic noun, like Regent or something--probably would work better for a boy, but not necessarily!

My daughter's name is Reagan, a lot of times we call her Reaggy. Different than Reggie, but still similar. :

My daughter's mn is Reagan. It only comes out when she's in trouble, though. ;)

You should watch the show Dead Like Me! The main character is named George, short for Georgia, and her sister is named Reggie (we never hear what it's short for).

That's the way it is in the Nancy Drew books for her friend George Fayne... Short for Georgia (although that may just be for certain authors, I don't remember)

I know a woman named just "Reggie" but it's pronounced "reg(like 'regular')-ee".

I wrote a story once where the main character's name was Georgina, and I called her Reggie.

(Not a srs suggestion, was recently watching an old HIMYM episode and I think that's where in the dark recesses of my mind it came from) but, Regis? (yea as in Philbin)

Sorry... You had already gotten a lot of great REAL answers- I didn't have any good ones to add so, that's what I've got for you :-)

My history professor's first name was Regiton. Not sure if that helps, though.
