Precious or whatever the hell they did to it is probably one of the worst names I have ever seen. My ex-husband went to school with a girl named Precious Cox. He came home YEARS later (he was about 30 at the time, I think) and said he had seen her in the Taco Bell drive-thru. He actually apologized to her for being so horrible to her in school. I told him, "Good!" but I just couldn't help but think, "WHY?! WHY would your parents do this to you?!?!"

As an Amanda, Shamanda really hurts my sensibilities. It's like they smooshed Amanda with Shame. Poor babies.

As for Heyylaannaa...ugh. I don't even want to insult the gorgeous Hawaiian names I've heard. I suspect it should be pronounced "Helena" (I've heard both Hel-AY-nuh and HEL-en-uh), but I keep wanting to say that as Heyyyyy (see The Fonz)-Lane-Nay (almost like Shanaynay).

I quite like Trinity and Chanel but together is overkill in my opinion. The rest are just awful. These kinds of names seem to be the names of the future though. I can only see these names getting more and more popular :/
