Good friends Zoe and David James had their first child today, Eleanor Grace

i think Grace as a middle name is way overdone, but i do think the name is beautiful ( tho in my head i keep wanting to say EleanorA Grace for some reason).... and, they both have strong christian faith so i think grace works well for them. LOVE Eleanor, its so strong and timeless...yay Eleanor Roosevelt!

Totally agree about Grace. I wanted to use it as a first name but my husband preferred it as a middle.

The only reason I think Eleanor it's cute is because she can be known by so many different nicknames. Eleanor by itself is just old and dry sounding, to me.

And no matter how popular Grace is, it's still beautiful and I don't think it gets old.

I love that the name Eleanor has made a comback - so a beautiful classic name. I agree that Grace is a little overplayed, but that's because it sounds nice with so many names.
