Hi, my name is Sophy and ive recently discovered i might not be able to have children which has got me thinking about how much i really would love to have a baby of my own. Not right now but in the future, definetly, well.. hopefully. Instead of moping about it i'm thinking positive, hence the baby name search!
My partner and I have always talked about babynames and since its likely that if at all we could only have one child i think their name would have to be something very special, family connected but i dont know... and i love unusual names but my partner isnt so keen at all. He is 100% dead set on calling his first son Ian (which i detest)he wont even compromise and settle for that as a middle name! Apparently it's either Ian or the baby has no name!

My great grandpa, grandpa and cousin were/are named Max. It's a family name and I love it.

and i think aidan is a nice name - ethan is just as popular a name as aidan right now, if you check out the popularity charts. to each his own, i say!

Aidan is less popular than Ethan, i hadnt realised Ethan was so popular actually. It was number 14 in England last year which surprised me a little to be honest, i don't know a single person, bar Ethan Hawke, with the name.
But yes Aidan is a nice name it's just it happens to be Nadia backwards and i've always found that weird. lol
