You want to name a child after OUaT's Mad Hatter? I say go for it. He's awesome and sexy. Just so you know, he's named after the band Jefferson Airplane Starship, who recorded a song called "White Rabbit." But Jefferson's a cool name, especially with Jeff as a nickname.
