My co-worker/good friend found out this afternoon that she and her husband will be welcoming their first child, a girl, into their family in September. Based on prior conversations I'm about 95% sure that the name will be Riley Ann. What do you Gus think?

It's not my style, personally, but I can't really put my finger on why. Maybe Riley seems overused, I'm not sure. Dad's name is Ryan, and my friends middle name is Ann...if that changes your opinion any.

Not a big fan because the first thing that popped into my head when I said Riley Ann was Raggedy Ann. I hope she doesn't grow up to be a ginger.

I thought of Raggedy Ann too. I'm not a fan of Riley on girls. I think it is too masculine (and yet cutesy?) and I don't think it ages well. On the other hand, Reilly on a boy I would have no problem with.

I used to be so-so about Riley and then I started watching The Client List and now I love it.

But I don't love the name Ann, especially for a middle name because everyone my mom's age has Ann as their middle name, heh.
